They made it to the mansion in France leading the big cars, so that was good.

They are through the Pyrenees (with pouring rain and poor visibility)and they had a detour af about 2-3 hours, but in company of lots of other cars. They were about a 120 km. north of Madrid and were passing a non-Pyrenean mountain and encountered some snow!! They had just been pulled over by a Spanish cop and got a ticket for speeding of 98 Euros which they payed on the spot and had some laughs about that, also seeing other people run into the same cops.

They will be in Madrid soon for breakfast and will try and do some updates on the website, so watch our for that!! (in the mountains there was no connection with the outside world).

They seemed to be in good spirits and according to Jason, Colin had done a lot of driving. They also got some sleep taking turns.

It sounds like they're having a great time and they're competing well and finding places.

If you might hear something let us know,

Cheers,

Good... a couple of days without updates and I was beginning to wonder whether they had driven off a cliff or something...

Evidently the Spanish Police did not get a cut on the action so have taken it upon themselves to "enforce some." Telephone reports indicate many gumballers were picked off by the police for adverstising violations when a traffic pop (or in addtion to) did not work...prevented many from getting to Barcelona on time for F1....some got through using detours....maybe next year Motorola should be an official sponsor and all entrants be given radios with strike, tac, etc. freq. There's got to be a signals solution to problemLaughing. Car 54 where are = Barcelona on 9 May...good
